Painting Tips
Hello, Artist! Just dropping in to give you a few tips on how to make your painting successful.
- Paint in very light layers, spreading the paint until your brush runs out of paint.
- There are always shadows on our faces', clothing, etc. Use a darker paint to create your shadows. I.e. I would use a darker brown under the chin to separate the face and neck.
- Allow layers to completely dry before adding another layer, move on to another section while waiting for one to dry.
- Mistakes are a part of the process. Allow it to dry, then fix it.
- ENJOY the process! Painting should not be stressful, keep it fun!
